Holdings information

Religious studies is not among the traditional focuses of ZHB collections. Historically, we only acquired literature on this subject in order to supplement our theology holdings. But since the Chair was established in 1972, we've systematically maintained our Religious Studies specialist department. 
The department is primarily geared toward the needs of students and faculty at the University of Lucerne and takes special account of their research interests. However, ZHB's holdings also aim to cover the information needs of the general public.

We currently hold some 9,000 titles on religious studies and make around 400 new additions per year.
