There are two photocopying rooms in the Sempacherstrasse basement, each with a multifunction copier.

To make copies and scans you'll need a library card that you can load with credit (ZHB/IDS card; university or school Legi) or a cash card. You can buy a cash card at the information desk for CHF 10. This card has no credit on it, so you'll need to add some (there is a top-up machine in the basement by the copier room) before using it for the first time. (Notes only, so minimum top-up CHF 10).

You can make single copies with a library copy card, which you can obtain at the information desk by depositing a personal ID.

If you have a valid Campus Card, you can use Follow-Me Printing to collect documents with your card at a multifunction copier (this service is also available at the Uni/PH Building). WebPrint is an online service that lets you print documents straight from a personal computer without installing a print driver.

You can also print straight from a USB stick: You'll need a Campus Card and the document must be a PDF.

There are also mobile scanners at the information desk that you can take to a library workspace.
You can download the required software to your own notebook, or borrow one of ours, which already have the scanning software installation file on the Desktop.
There is a scanning station on the 1st floor where you can easily create scans directly. You'll need a USB stick so that you can save your scan to take away.

The multifunction copiers can:
