You can request open shelf items online or collect them in person during library opening hours.

Items for collection are placed on the pick-up shelf next to the self-checkout station where you can log them to your card. Items are placed on the pick-up shelf in alphabetical order according to the first four letters of your surname. 

Items that you request will be held for pick-up for a week. You'll receive a notification for each requested or reserved item once it is ready to collect.

There is a self-checkout station where you can check out items yourself. To borrow from the library you'll need a ZHB library card or a Campus Card. You can borrow up to 150 items. Borrowing fees must not exceed CHF 50.
